The winter morning was cold and the people in the small village to the north east of Domus stayed in their homes, unknowing of the animals who had nowhere to go, who were shivering in the cold. A tired, broken butterfly fluttered past unnoticed by all. That is, all except one little girl. A 13 year old. She saw the butterfly, saw that he was suffering and decided to do something about it. She caught him between her hands and he didn't put up much of fight. She opened her cupped hands and saw that his midnight blue wings were tattered and torn and that the bottom two of his right legs were missing. She promised him something she never thought
